Get started with these three resources
Credential stuffing is a common danger, and is growing in frequency. For example, 2020's CRA breach was down to people reusing passwords.
1. Fortunately, credential stuffing is avoidable. To be safe, use a password manager to create unique passwords for all your logins. Here is a quickstart for the password manager we use.
2. We also recommend multi-factor authentication, to reduce the potential damage if you get phished. Here is a quickstart for the multi-factor authenticator (quite a mouthful isn't it?) we use.
3. Multi-factor authentication is quickly becoming available on public services in Canada. We recommend using them wherever you can.
